Meg has spent the last week in an allergy haze; she’s been hacking and coughing and her eyes are red and itchy. To make matters worse, she ended up with two giant zits on her chin. Girls, don’t believe it when they say you outgrow acne. Even a fifty-something can be struck down and think she needs a tube of Clearasil.
Meg would also like to mention the humidity level was off the charts. She had the air conditioning in the bedroom and living room running THE ENTIRE WEEK. Loud, claustrophobia inducing machinery never shutting off, alternately creating a cool room but strange dreams. Making one feel comfortable, yet creating a state of ennui that made Meg crazy. You get the picture, kids.
Well, The zits are drying up the same way the weather is, so Meg can easily reflect several weeks back before last week’s cranky fest, where she had some fun at the beach and at a music festival:

After her beach respite Meg turned her attention to the Lowell Folk Festival, and some singing and dancing:

Surprisingly, Meg already feels better after posting some photos and hopes you are all starting your Monday off in a rather good mood. Here’s to the last month of summer being a good one!
