Today I got a nice surprise in the mail:

So besides the fact my arm clearly needs a dip in Aveeno, (and I seriously tried to find a photo filter to give it a bridal veil affect) check out the pink bracelet. It says “Be Amazing“.
This bracelet was a token of thanks for my support for Jen’s recent 3-day walk to fight breast cancer. The walk was hugely successful, and what’s even more astounding, is that Jen is the mother of triplets, the firecracker baby Henry and an all around fabulous Mom and Blogger.
Not only did I get my awesome bracelet, but I also got this:

Apparently after finishing three days of walking and sleeping in a tent, she had the triplets draw pictures and help write notes of thanks.
So it’s proudly displayed on my fridge, and I must say outstanding job Elizabeth! Your Mom rocks. Read more about the 3-day adventure over at Amazing Trips, and get inspired to be “even more amazing”.
There. I feel much less Scroogier than I did this morning. And now, I think I’ll go over to Heifer International and purchase a sheep I’ve had my eye on.

Oh, I love it!! I’m so glad that you received the bracelet and the picture!! I showed Elizabeth a shot of your refrigerator a little earlier and she was so happy that you had her artwork hanging up. (Even if it was a copy of an original!!)
So did you buy the sheep? I’ve looked in to doing that, too. It certainly seems like a wonderful organization!
Stay well!
